- A Little bit about me…. I love a good story and I like it to be long; 6oo pages or more is great. With the advent of tablets and ereaders they are never too heavy to carry. I like stories I can sink my teeth into. Some of my favorite authors are Toni Morrison, John Irving, Alice Walker, Walter Mosely, Stephen King, Clive Barker, Dean Koontz and Dennis Lehane. So I guess I really lean towards thrilling, suspenseful, horror, huh? But why do I like to feel the hairs on my neck stand up and the goose bumps on my arms? Am I similar to those daring riders on the Alpengeist or the Griffon at Busch Gardens? Maybe, only my thrills lasts longer, much, much longer….
